Women Deliver | 2019 Conference

Women Deliver is a global advocacy brand for the health and rights of girls and women. Every three years Women Deliver hosts the largest gender equality conference in the world, and I designed for the 2019 Conference in Vancouver, Canada. The conference brought together over 8,000 individuals to discuss feminist action around the world, including heads of state from half a dozen different countries.

Some of the designs that I worked on included the backdrop for the registration desk, which included the word ‘welcome’ in 50 different languages, backdrops for concurrent sessions and press conferences, lectern signs, directional gatorboards, digital signage that aired within the conference hall, and the conference pocket guide including maps of the conference space and the full conference schedule.

MVP Health Care | Company Values Elevator

These graphics were created for the elevators in the MVP Health Care Schenectady headquarters. The company wanted a visually exciting introduction to the company for individuals visiting the office that spoke to the values that MVP is based on. I put together a few different concepts and worked with senior leadership to come to this final interlocking piece, that I designed, sized, and prepped for printing and installation.

AZO Complete Feminine Balance® | Product Launch

AZO® — a major feminine health brand — held an event to celebrate the launch of their new product, AZO Complete Feminine Balance®. The event was hosted at Azalea’s lingerie shop in New York City, and was themed around the facts and myths of what can disrupt vaginal health. I was tasked with analyzing the space available and coming up with interactive displays to bring the attendees into the experience.

To solve for this, I decided to lean into the space available by designing a Q&A utilizing the drawers in the shop; each potential disruptor was displayed on top of the island and attendees would need to pull the drawers to find the correct answer.

On top of the drawer Q&A design, I also created directional signage, branded tote bags, a pop-up banner and a brochure that guests were handed upon entry including a layout of the different stations and information about the new AZO Complete Feminine Balance® product.

Syn®-Ake | CEW Beauty Awards

DSM. a scientific solutions brand, wanted to promote their anti-aging cosmetics ingredient at the CEW beauty awards in NYC. Using their audience demographic of female millennials as a starting point, I created a concept around the brand’s idea of ‘beauty venom,’ selecting the color scheme, deciding on the layout of the booth, choosing swag giveaways and designing all aspects of the booth, from the package labels (samples of the ingredient were included in miniature bottles of foundation) to the backdrop.

Jacob's Creek | Our Table

Jacob’s Creek, as the Official Wine and Promotional Partner of the US Open Tennis Championships, hosts an annual press event in New York City in partnership with Novak Djokovic to kick-off the event and celebrate the “Our Table” campaign.

I had the opportunity to create the designs for the 2016 and 2017 events, including invitations, place cards, menus, table tents, step and repeats, stem rings/tasting mats and all other branding and signage. I also had the opportunity to be the official photographer of the 2016 event (see event in my photography section here) and had my photography from that event featured on MensJournal.com and People.com (I missed the 2017 event due to scheduling conflicts).

Women Deliver | 10 Year Milestones

To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Women Deliver (a global advocacy brand dedicated to the health and rights of girls and women), I created a timeline of important milestones in the company’s history for the celebration, held during the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. Each illustration is an original creation based on the individual milestone it is referencing.

During the event guests were encouraged to take a polaroid of themselves and pin it to the timeline at the point that they started their relationship with Women Deliver.

Google Jamboard | Product Launch

To promote the launch of the Google Jamboard — an interactive, digital whiteboard with collaborative capabilities — an event was held at the Google offices in New York City, cohosted by the creators of the Jamboard, BenQ.

Working with brand elements provided by the team at BenQ, I created all of the branded signage for the event, including invitations, backdrops, digital signage, pop-up banners, table tents, catering signage and branded napkins.

Culturelle® Baby | Product Launch Press Mailer

To promote the launch of the Culturelle® Baby line of probiotics, The Thomas Collective on behalf of the Culturelle® brand sent out product samples to press and influencers using a mailer celebrating baby milestones.

I created a custom design for the box to denote the major milestones of a baby’s first two years using illustrations of block toys on a carpet. I also created a card insert that included more information on the new products, and collaborated on choosing and sourcing the remaining materials for the mailer.

Georges Duboeuf | Beaujolais Nouveau Launch Campaign

Georges Duboeuf is a French wine brand that is internationally known for their Beaujolais Nouveau. To celebrate the 2017 vintage, a launch event was held in New York City on the day it was released.

I created the full suite of signage for the event including invitations, posters, gift bags and table tents, and I also designed custom product mailers for simultaneous release that were sent to those unable to attend.

In order to raise anticipation leading up to the release, I also created a full social media campaign including countdown posts and an infographic, and a video campaign featuring Ari Robinson, whose artwork was selected to be featured on the bottle.

Women Deliver & Population Council | Having a Child Before Becoming an Adult

This report was co-authored by Population Council and Women Deliver and brings together data from multiple countries to analyze the impacts of having a child before 18 on the economic opportunity of girls and women.

I created the design and formatted the full 53 page report, which can be viewed in its entirety here.

Women Deliver also ran a full social media campaign to promote the release of this report, a portion of which can be seen in the last two images of this gallery.

Culturelle® Baby | Biggest Baby Shower Ever

In order to raise consumer awareness of the new Culturelle® Baby line of products, Culturelle® took part in a series of ‘Biggest Baby Shower Ever’ conventions in early 2018.

The Culturelle® team wanted their booth to stand out from the crowd, both visually, and by including interactive elements. To achieve this goal, I created a series of assets, including the oversized backdrop which included a photo booth area, a branded plinko game which allowed guests to win samples of the products, a pop-up banner which included an infographic about babies’ microbiomes and how Culturelle® can help, and a branded tablecloth to draw people in. I also created branded tote bags and popcorn bags with branded tags to pique the interest of attendees that may see them around the convention and not have visited the booth yet.

Women Deliver | Comprehensive Sexuality Education Guide

This guide, created in partnership with the Women Deliver Young Leader program, was created to provide advice to young advocates looking to push for increased investments and policy change around Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) globally.

The full report which spans 50 pages can be viewed here. I created the report design to cater to the intended audience (Young Leaders between the ages of 13 and 30). The bright colors and active photographs are hallmarks of the Women Deliver brand that I curated to create an upbeat take on what can be a dense topic.

When this guide was released, Women Deliver and Youth Deliver (Women Deliver’s partner social media page catered to the Young Leaders program) shared a social media campaign that I also created to raise the view count of the guide. Some of those social media posts are included here as well.
